Designed specifically to create a broad soundfield from atop a 32" or larger TV screen, it boasts a unique five driver array. Four superb 5 1/4" bass/midrange drivers feature specialized response shaping circuitry to meld perfectly with our spectacular 1" Gold Dome tweeter. The tweeter is then driven through a top quality mylar capacitive network further enhanced by polyproplyene bypass circuitry. The result is incredibly detailed and vibrant audio reproduction from virtually any viewing position and at any volume level. Its freedom from audible distortion always results in a pleasurable, non-fatiguing listening experience. The Classic Gold Center's exceptional accuracy and very high power handling capacity (200 Watts RMS, 600 Watts Peak) will easily meet the demands of both Dolby Digital (AC-3) and Dolby Pro-Logic formats. Multiple acoustic coupling of the four woofers results in authoritative low end response down to 80 Hz (excellent for a center channel speaker); this ensures seamless blending with your main speakers.
